F.A.Q.
Q – What are the minimum water pressure requirements?
All BrightWater’s products operate down to the lowest possible water pressure possible for low flow technology of 1 bar. This is possible due to BrightWater’s patented “Vacuum Flow™” technology that will provide excellent showering performance at all water pressures.
Q – Does the BrightWater showerhead use a restrictor?
A – No, restricters simple starve a showerhead of water and reduce shower performance, the BrightWater system utilises the principles of fluid mechanics to accelerate and pressurise the water flow to give a high performance shower, with units designed to match the water pressure and flow requirements of the building.
Q – What does the shower feel like?
The BrightWater shower is a powerful shower with the health benefits of having had oxygen injected into the water to help exfoliate the skin and improve circulation.
Q – How much will my water and energy bills be reduced by?
Much depends on the flow rate from your existing taps & showerheads, however it is common to see both the water and energy costs be reduced by over 50%. This can be easily qualified by having a site survey.
Q – Is there a danger of scalding with hot water?
As a leading supplier of thermostatic mixing valves, we are also committed to the safe use of hot water. This is why we suggest commercial systems operate with thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) that blend hot and cold water together prior to delivery to ensure hot water at safe temperatures at the hot water outlet.
Right across the UK there are regulations governing the compulsory use of the valves in health and care environments. For applications, for example schools, hotels and public areas there are a combination of regulations, guidelines and best practice. BrightWater’s Thermostatic mixing valves meet the highest possible regulation standards and can be safely fitted into any premises.
