Single Mixing Valve

To ensure water is supplied at the correct flow and temperature to BrightWater low flow showerheads and Taps at single outlet points the BrightWater Thermostatic Single Outlet Mixing Valve should be fitted as detailed below:
The BrightWater Single Shower Outlet Mixing Valve is designed for use in applications where an individual outlet requires water at a stable and safe temperature. To ensure easy servicing the valve is fitted with service valves to isolate the mixing valve.

The valve should be:

  • Cartridge construction
  • Low pressure drop
  • Tamper proof head
  • Chrome plated
  • Fitted shut off valves to facilitate easy servicing
  • Connection size 15 mm compression.
  • WRAS approval
  • NHS D08 and TMV3 approval

Temperature adjustment range: 30ºC to 50ºC
Temperature stability: + / – 2º C
Maximum working pressure: 10 bar static
Minimum working pressure: 0.2 bar dynamic
Maximum inlet temperature: 85° C
Inlet temperature range: 52ºC – 65ºC hot supply
5ºC – 20ºC cold supply
D08 Working pressure range: 0.2 – 1.0 low pressure
1.0 – 5.0 high pressure
Maximum temperature differential
(mix to hot) for fail safe:		 10ºC
